Say What You Want

I'm thankful for....
 1.  a fresh, new day on which to write my thanks...and life and breath to write it with...
2 . beautiful weather yesterday and forecast for the same today!
 3.  opportunities to do good AND my family of faith.
 4.  truth received (loud and clear) via  My Utmost for His Highest today.
5.  Some  "down time" with hubby - taking in a couple of local nursery/garden spots'
Christmas Open Houses yesterday

Go ahead.  Say what you want.
 It was a beautiful day
 and a cheerful way
to spend a couple of hours with my husband  yesterday.
Seems to me there were TONS of bazaars and open houses this weekend.
The two Open Houses we took in were enough for me.
Were there a bunch in YOUR community?
Did you/do you "do" them?

  1. Morning Rebecca,
Looks like a great way to spend a fun day to me.
We used to go to a wonderful craft fair years ago when the kids were younger and it was really fun,
but kind of got out of the habit of going for some reason. Probably do to all the years of physical difficulties I had back in my mid 40's to early 50's. We went out walking last night at one of our outdoor shopping centers here and it was so much fun just walking outdoors cause it was so cool and breezy and just a glorious day and evening. Loved it........really wish we
had more of these cool days like that, they truly are like perfect days. We are going to check out a new store they opened in the Orlando area next weekend, it is called "Garden Ridge".
I think they are the first one in Florida, so it should be lots of fun to check out, and we are looking forward to it.
Hope you are doing well hon,
    blessings, Nellie

  3. I took Jake to the doctor today. I was grateful that we have one in town that has Saturday hours. We got some medicine and I will take care of the rest. I'm grateful that I can do that better now!
I'm not to sure about the whole Christmas thing yet. I have mixed feelings. I guess I'm not quite in the mood yet even though I've already been Christmas shopping.
Your photos do look pretty though.
    Love Di ♥

  4. Haven't heard of anything like that here yet.
Just looking at all of this makes me so want
to get out my Christmas decorations and make
my house all beautiful and festive! Can hardly
    wait!

  5. There were NO bazaars or anything of the like in our area......we have to cool off for a bit, then we can start the holiday things.

  6. All of them start this weekend and the next around here. If you buy for Christmas decorating the shops need to have the stuff early so you can get it and get your plan of attack ready. That was always my story when I owned a shop anyway. I am decorating early. I am always excited to get to it. I put out fall decor in early Sept and it has been 2 months. I am ready to change it up.

  7. Many bazaars in my community, but I had a book signing I had to be at instead. It did not go as well as I'd have liked, but maybe all the other activities drew people away. Not doing much shopping at all this year due to economic circumstances and family scattered all over.

  8. Oh how I do love this time of year! There are many craft fairs here, too, but I've yet to get to one. I love the pictures. Now I want to drag out my Christmas stuff :)
