Friends and Neighbors

Friends - like THIS one!

We spent an evening with this one and his precious wife.

Homemade ice cream (peach, strawberry or vanilla),

conversation, and music!

Neighbors - the only explanation I have for this tomato found on our back porch

this afternoon.

In a day when people are being constantly pitted against people,

it is reassuring to find oneself surrounded by friends and neighbors.

And in the end, besides prayer,

BEING a good friend and neighbor locally

is where solutions to this insanity and/or evil will begin.

We were blessed with a bountiful garden to share with neighbors this year... And in turn got a bag full of fresh corn. Glad you have great friends and neighbors... But I know you're one, too! 💜

THE BLOGGER'S PRAYER Lord, help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me, dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
