Book Day

I've had this on hold for many, many weeks.

It arrived today, just in time for World Book Day!

I'm on chapter 2 and have already shed a tear.

(It's the sequel to The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, by Rachel Joyce....)

How could I NOT know it was a Book Day! I don't know this title but will write it down. I really liked the Pilgrimage one by that author. Just finished John Wayne: the Life and Legend. Reading in a collection of western short stories, a small book of poetry, and reading Boudoirs to Brothels...World of Wild West Women. I also just finished A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler.

THE BLOGGER'S PRAYER Lord, help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me, dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
