Life and Godliness

It has been my privilege to live in a generation impacted by the
ministry and character of Billy Graham.
This week, it is my privilege to attend a conference meeting in a building
of the Billy Graham Association in Charlotte, NC.
These are a few of the paintings and pictures that captured my attention as I walked the halls here.
 The statement (above) explains EVERYTHING.
This afternoon we will get to tour the library; but even if we couldn't,
I would go home challenged and humbled by what God can do
though one man/woman totally yielded and available to Him.
D.L. Moody, one of the great Early American evangelists,
overheard a dedicated Christian servant say while he was dying,
“It is yet to be seen what God can do with one man,
wholly dedicated to God.”
Moody, as a young man said, “By the grace of God, I’ll be that man.”
I believe God is still looking for one man/one woman--
indeed an ARMY of us, wholly dedicated to Himself.
By the grace of God.....

  1. Amen to that! You are so right on those final statements! We have been encouraging our congregation about the potential that is in them in Jesus Christ! Have an enjoyable and challenging time at the conference center!

  2. Morning Rebecca,
Oh, what a wonderful place that is from what I have heard, we have a friends in Gainesville that are a
Pastoral family and they have been there many times to many conferences, and they say it is just the neatest place. What is not to love about Billy Graham.......he has such integrity.......a true man of faith and Godliness. A true role model for this day and age...............

I loved the pic of he and Ruth, you can see the love.........
Did you ever see the movie about their life, think it is just called Billy, it is just a wonderful movie.
If you haven't seen it..........netflik carries it and it is one of those movies you could watch over and
    over again...........

I think God uses us all in His own way..........know 2 lives are the same nor the people they meet
or rub shoulders with.........it is exciting to see the way God uses each person, we are not all meant to be Billy Graham's.......but we are all meant to be used for God's purposes.......some of us will be
seen more publicly some of us are more in the background, but all the same we can fulfill God's
purposes for us.............By His Grace and Peace.

    Lovely Post.............about a lovely family!

    Blessings, Nellie
