Weekend Pleasure

 LAST week, the Segway Adventure...
YESTERDAY our transportation was THIS contraption!
Well, at least for one leg of our otherwise walking tour
of a beautiful, old neighborhood in nearby Fort Wayne.
Many of the interiors were lovely.
Some were in various stages of renovation.
It was the EXTERIORS that caught my camera's (well, cellphone camera, anyway) eye.
Possibly this was because of the sheer BEAUTY of the day.
Near perfect, cool weather with more than a hint
of autumn in the air...
It was such a pleasure to spend the hours
in one of my favorite recreational activities
in the company of my husband.
Just another reason to Bless the Lord, O My Soul!

  1. I did not make it to West Central on Saturday, we did visited The Fort for the reenactment of the 1812 siege of the fort, it was fun. I agree with you the weather was fantabulous, and definitely a hint of fall.
We are fortunate to be blessed with good health and mind so as to enjoy so many good things in life.

I enjoyed the pictures, very peaceful to look at.

    1. Did you do the City Pass "thing" where you could go to the Botanical Gardens, Art Museum, etc.?

  2. We did not. Ben came home from Muncie with his girlfriend, they had a wedding to attend this weekend, so we did a mid-afternoon meal with the family. I did however read about it in the paper this morning, it sounds very good, so I will try to make it next year.

  4. Some really beautiful landscapes there Rebecca. I always find them inspiring, especially the photos of the trees. I have but one tree in my yard and find myself more often than not, beneath it! Love Di ♥
