Timely Tweets

I purchased this old wind-up clock for a quarter at a garage sale over the weekend.
It appeared locked up and non-working, but my husband removed the back and oiled
some of the "works" inside it.
Now it ticks away, keeping perfect time.
I wish you could hear it.
There's something very soothing about it....
Now, here are some of the tweets that I "re-tweeted" this past week.
I find them especially timely.

  6. Hi Rebecca,
HOpe you had a lovely weekend. That is a very neat clock, and so great your hubby got it running so well. Wow, these are some thought and great quotes you have hear. My fav was the one about the god of mercy only, not a god of justice.
Think it and the others are right on..................

I just posted my coastal post, and already had 2 comments and was thinking how can that be, and thought someone must have posted on my Thankful Thursday post but maybe it went away when I put the new post on or something. Then I remember that something happened while I was preparing it tho not finished yet
but it posted by mistake, so I looked at the timethe comments were posted and realized it must stay on there even if you take it off. Never knew that.................learn something new everyday. lol

    Take Care, blessings, Nellie

  7. You know how I love quotes! These are all great and I especially love the sixth one by R.C.Ryle and all by Spurgeon. But, the last by Francis Schaeffer really gives something to consider!
The old clock reminds me of one I used to see setting on my parents nightstand when I was young. Sweet. I like old clocks; there's just something about them.

    1. I'm with you, Sandy. F. Schaeffer was quite prophetic. And Spurgeon, Ryle, AND Tozer are among my all-time favorites.
