Progress

Nine days after being hospitalized, our little grandson
was feeding from a bottle instead of a feeding tube this evening.
Needless to say, our hearts are full of joy and thanksgiving!
I'm also thankful for cell phones, texting, skype,
facebook, and all the ways we are able to communicate
and see the progress.
I was only able to be there one day early this week.
THANK YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER!
And thank you, friends,
who have prayed and offered words of encouragement.
We hope he is soon out of the NIC-U and transitions to home sometime next week.

UPDATE:  Sunday noon we received word and a picture that ALL the tubes
have been removed!  Hallelujah.  Thank You, Jesus!

  3. GOD bless him..only our Lord can heal him like this!! He's looking wonderful, little babies are stronger than we think and cannot understimate their healing capacity. Blessings to his wonderful parents and grandparents. Thank you for sharing such great news! Have a blessed Sunday my friend.

    1. After eliminating some serious-sounding infections as the cause, they've said it is Rhinovirus - the "simple" cold. He was born a little early (3 weeks or so) and that may have contributed to his quick decline. He didn't have the strength to eat, etc.
