Nine days after being hospitalized, our little grandson
was feeding from a bottle instead of a feeding tube this evening.
Needless to say, our hearts are full of joy and thanksgiving!
I'm also thankful for cell phones, texting, skype,
facebook, and all the ways we are able to communicate
and see the progress.
I was only able to be there one day early this week.
THANK YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER!
And thank you, friends,
who have prayed and offered words of encouragement.
Praise God...rejoicing with you and for his precious parents!!
ReplyDeleteThis little guy is looking bright-eyed...good to see!
ReplyDeleteGOD bless him..only our Lord can heal him like this!! He's looking wonderful, little babies are stronger than we think and cannot understimate their healing capacity. Blessings to his wonderful parents and grandparents. Thank you for sharing such great news! Have a blessed Sunday my friend.

I'm so grateful to hear the good report! If you don't mind me asking, what did he have?
ReplyDeleteAfter eliminating some serious-sounding infections as the cause, they've said it is Rhinovirus - the "simple" cold. He was born a little early (3 weeks or so) and that may have contributed to his quick decline. He didn't have the strength to eat, etc.
DeleteThankful for this good report! I will continue to pray for Silas and his family...
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers, Cheryl.
