It was all kind of a blur! |
My weekend has included
- Friday morning - leading Hymn Sing at a local nursing home
- Friday afternoon - making 2 soups, a huge cheeseball and 2 pans of brownies
- Friday evening - greeting daughter and 4 grandchildren
- Saturday - much play! Indoors and out!
- Saturday evening - served dinner (soups, etc.) to 10 dorm leaders who came to retreat in Indiana with our son-in-law who is a Resident Director at Moody Bible Institute.
- Sunday morning - Sunday school and church
- Sunday noon - I'll prepare and serve lunch to the worship leaders after church (and clean up, of course).
- Sunday afternoon - I'll probably look like THIS!
or this...
It was fun while it lasted!
Yes it was!
Beautiful grandchildren, Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteYou had a busy but fun weekend!!!
My hat is off to you....

Jackie
Sounds like you've had a full weekend!
ReplyDeleteGosh girl you've tuckered me out! lol

We stayed home this morning as Myguy is on vacation. Think we're gonna go to an evening service though. Hope yours is wonderful today as well.
Holykisses and PEACE AND REST!!!
Looks perfect to me!!
ReplyDeleteYou were certainly busy! Glad you had fun with those pretty grandchildren...they make everything fun, don't they!
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I am finally getting back to your blog to chat with you! Thanks so much for visiting me at Thinking About Home a few (many?) days ago. I always enjoy meeting new blog friends, especially those who are of the household of faith.
ReplyDeleteMy delay comes from the fact that I am slow (ask my husband!)...which extends to my writing. So when I took on the project of a 31-day series, I had to let other things slide! (I am awed by those who can post so frequently on a regular basis.)
I suppose that after this past month, I can relate to your busy, busy weekend. Full of busyness, full of fun, full of blessing! (Full of tiredness?) :-D
You'll be exhausted today but your heart will be full! I know you had a wonderful time! Loved all the pics!
