Note To Self

The forecast isn't too encouraging in the sunshine department here in northeast Indiana
....but I'm doing my best to interject some sunshine into
the tone and tenor of my heart and home!
Uplifting music,
healthy food,
hearty doses of God's Word and other positive reading,
spending time with friends,
serving others...

  4. I hear you on the weather front. We've been fortunate in the sense that we haven't been overloaded with snow. In fact, we really haven't had any snow in my part of Oregon. However, the dark weather can be somewhat iffy. I think what you're doign is just right...especially spending tim e in the Word. I also enjoy a good movie, some coffee and candles, too :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  6. Hi Rebecca,
Sorry I haven't had a chance to come by lately.
Like your note to self, that is a good note.
Also liked all your posts from this week, they are all very good. Now I want to see this Stephen Tyler....isn't it awesome when you see someone on TV that is kind and encouraging, stands out like the night doesn't it, and it is captivating.
Have you ever seen "undercover boss", we have only seen a few shows, but one of them was about 7-ll stores, and it was fantastic....we just wanted to cheer. The undercover boss was just wonderful and he really rewarded these sweet hardworking folks that would otherwise just gone unnoticed, but yet they were part of what made 7-11 successful. Super Show, made us cry almost. Doesn't it just do your heart so much good when you see those threads of decency that used to be commonplace but seem so far removed from our world today. It just makes my
heart jump for joy and anymore, just makes me weep because it is so refreshing.
You are an encourager my friend, I have been blessed by a many of your comments!!
and glad to see you are not holding yourself to doing everything on that list, and I like you 2 things not to do, be hasty or indecisive! good rules of thumb for everyone really! I hear you and I am with you on that!!
Have a wonderful week full of blessings hon,
and hope you get some Florida weather soon,
I know everyone is soooooo ready!!

  7. Faith Music Missions, Ed Russ? sings a song *I'm On the Sunny Side* and it sure is a pretty song! He must have made it up because I can't find it anywhere else!
