Give Thanks

Why NOT?  Thanks to Brenda at Cozy Little House for the idea of using rubber stamps as part of the decorating scheme.  I'm not--and never have been--a stamper, but I have a few stamps that I've used for place cards or package decorating during the holidays.  I think these two look charming on the shelves of my old step-back cabinet.

More important than how they LOOK is the reminder they are to me to ♥GIVE THANKS with a GRATEFUL HEART♥

I Chronicles 29
11 Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power
   and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
   for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, LORD, is the kingdom;
   you are exalted as head over all.
12 Wealth and honor come from you;
   you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
   to exalt and give strength to all.
13 Now, our God, we give you thanks,
   and praise your glorious name.

  3. great idea! I will go through some of my stamps too and see what I can find! I have some artificial leaves that I cut up so they are "individual" which I've scattered on my dining room table and on a little table in my bathroom. I can "see" putting a few of these around the rubber stamps to brighten up the display...Yours look great where you have them!

  13. Rebecca,

    I am in NC and have a little time to read some blogs. It is fun to catch up on you and your time with grandkids. You are most likely still dealing with a bit of withdrawal. It always takes me three days until I stop thinking about the kids all day--what they ate for breakfast, what they are wearing, sweet voices, songs, reminders. It gradually fades a bit after a week and I get used to life without them but still the memories are so sweet. They are some of your Thanksgiving blessings--reasons to give thanks with a grateful heart.
