Just last night, I had a facebook message from a friend confessing apathy about a situation.
Life's challenges can either be met with apathy or passion.
I choose passion - in its most positive sense.
I may be 61 years old, but I don't want to "settle". I don't want to give up. I don't want to be apathetic.
By God's grace and in His power, I choose PASSION.
With passion, all of life becomes such a great adventure! I'd have it no other way.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what one word can do to stir the heart?
Blessings,
Kathleen

ReplyDeleteI do too.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great thing to be able to do things with passion. I wish I had more passion for cooking, hehehe...

Passion ~ a wonderful word. May you find 2010 to filled with it.
ReplyDeleteGreat word. Pretty much I already think of you as a passionate person. I used to think that my nature was too steady to be passionate. I thought it was because of my "roots." Even at that time I longed for more passion and the ability to show it and live it. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteI like your choice and perhaps that would be my choice also. Now I have a words swirling in my mind. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning Rebecca :)
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I'm always so glad to hear from you. I love your word for the New Year. "Passion" is needed, otherwise we lose interest. I'm keeping my passion centered spiritually on God. In doing so, I'm hoping that He can keep me "balanced" in everything else.
ReplyDeleteblessings, and have a wonderful week!
