A Purge Surge

Ever simplifying, I gained momentum in the Purge Department yesterday!
Adopting the challenge to jump start* my efforts, I went to the shelves that held an accumulation of vintage fabrics. I posted them on a Facebook site, and by evening they were gone!
Likewise with a trayful of miniature and mismatched pieces of tea sets.

*I enthusiastically endorse the method of getting rid of 100 items gathered in a 30 minute "Purge Splurge"!

What gorgeous fabrics, it's no wonder they went fast. Gather 100 items in 30 minutes. Wow!

What gorgeous fabrics, I agree, no wonder they were snapped up in a flash! I like the idea of gather 100 items in 30 minutes. I don't know if I'd have that much to gather and give away anymore. I did some major purges a few years ago.

There is something freeing about it all...

THE BLOGGER'S PRAYER Lord, help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me, dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
