Putting and Chipping

 This season of life...
Not a chance; a choice.
Not a job; a joy.
****
Spent Saturday evening watching my father and my husband
practice their putts and chips.
I took a book along to read,
but ended up just enjoying the scenery.
I'm seriously enjoying this season of life
with its unique privileges and responsibilities.

  1. Hi Rebecca........
Good for you! There is so much to enjoy in this life of ours....and love that
life slows down some as we get older, and I think we see and enjoy more things
about it when we aren't so busy all the time. At least that has been my
experience. Love your new background....are those crepe myrtle or any type
    of tree........beautiful whatever they are.
    Have a great weekend.........
    Blessings,
    Nellie

    1. Hi, Nellie! The background you're referring to are lilac bushes! They're done blooming. It reminds me I should change the background!

    1. Yes we ARE (blessed). And now, June. Cool/mild temperature capped with a clear, blue sky. Does the heart good ♥
