Do You?

Thanks to the presentation of the Woodburn Missionary Church last night,
I have a new appreciation for the events of (what we sometimes call) this Holy Week.
I realize how inadequate my appreciation - however "fresh" and heart-felt it may be - is.
I know Jesus said, "Blessed are those who believe without seeing me." (John 20:29)
Still, I wish I could have seen Him.
I believe.  In spite of myself, I believe.  All of it!
Including that one day I WILL see Him.
Do you?

...these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God,
and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.
John 20:31

  2. I sure wish I were there to listen to that presentation. You have a truly perceptive heart, dear Rebecca. One woman I could certainly learn much from. I saw your FB status this very early morning (just past midnight today, April 20 here in the Philippines) and thought I'd drop by your blog place to find out how you have been (beyond the FB updates).Well, I scrolled down and read all your April 2017 posts, and a few of the ones you wrote in March as well. I found myself nodding in agreement at every word your wrote, including the one on redeeming even just 15 minutes of the time we waste each day - and in a year I could put 91 hours to productive use! I also love the verse, The entrance (the unfolding) of your word brings light... So long for now dear friend. It was good to reconnect with you. Love, Lidia
