Oh, Holy Night!

It was a special night...
...in some ways, a holy night.
Friends gathered in this warm and welcoming home
to sing, share, and eat.
The words of one of the carols ESPECIALLY stood out to me this evening:
♪ The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger,
In all our trials born to be our Friend!
He knows our need—to our weakness is no stranger.

Behold your King; before Him lowly bend! ♪
Those middle two lines!
Ah.  Those middle two lines...
This ornament - crafted by our Sunday School teacher and given to each of us Sunday morning.

    1. Yes, AREN'T they (those two lines....)!
The ornament is very special. It's our first year in this group - but apparently those who have been in it for a long time have enough of his hand-made ornaments to decorate a small tree!
I wish YOU a joy filled week and Christmas Day as well, Lorraine. ♥
