"et als"

I am thankful for love, food, shelter, a job, et al
Thus posted a facebook friend yesterday.
I haven't words for the et als in my life.
They come bundled as large and small and everything in between.
Hearing my mother play Silent Night was one of the more recent "larges".
Today it will be celebrating my father's 87th birthday.
Tomorrow it will be an unconventional Thanksgiving
spent in a motel overnight with our 3 children and their families.
We will swim, snack, create, and play.
***
Thanksgiving isn't only the WILL of God for me,
it is the WORK of God in me and around me.
I wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving Day & Weekend
and et als to fill your life to overflowing.

  1. Oh yes, all the et als! You have reminded me how I loved listening to my sweet Mother play the piano too - and sing. May God bless you as you celebrate your father's birthday and your unusual Thanksgiving. Nothing better than to be with family - no matter where you may be.

  3. That sounds like you will have a lively Thanksgiving in the motel with loved ones around. Nice to shake things up in that way.
