Happy Trails

Two of our grandsons are visiting with us for a couple of days.
Some of our activities are chronicled on our family blog.
THIS one was just too beautiful not to share further!
 A nearby wetlands/prairie habitat trail
was the perfect place to walk off a little extra energy this evening!

All of us enjoyed it --
 especially me.
These purple coneflowers are some of my all-time favorite flowers
and they were plentiful along the path tonight.
Happy Trails to Me!

  5. Beautiful, beautiful photos! Looks like you are basking in the happiness of having your grands and the beautiful surroundings. I've been trying to grow coneflowers but so far they don't seem to like my garden. They are so beautiful...and healthful too!

    1. Debora, I'm unaware of the "healthful" part--but eager to know. Will look it up after g'kids are gone!

  8. How fun to have your grandsons share your love of nature. I delight in the coneflowers--they attract bees and butterflies too, I believe.

    Happy Day,
