Two of our grandsons are visiting with us for a couple of days.
Some of our activities are chronicled on our family blog.
THIS one was just too beautiful not to share further!
A nearby wetlands/prairie habitat trail
was the perfect place to walk off a little extra energy this evening!
All of us enjoyed it --
especially me.
These purple coneflowers are some of my all-time favorite flowers
and they were plentiful along the path tonight.
What a wonderful place to walk...and with the grands...:)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers and a fun activity with your grands.
ReplyDeleteThose would be happy trails for me, too, Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteGrandchildren and flowers! Can't get much better than that.
Love the photos. Thank you for sharing them with me.
Hugs,
J.
Looks like a lovely time and place to make memories!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful photos! Looks like you are basking in the happiness of having your grands and the beautiful surroundings. I've been trying to grow coneflowers but so far they don't seem to like my garden. They are so beautiful...and healthful too!
ReplyDeleteDebora, I'm unaware of the "healthful" part--but eager to know. Will look it up after g'kids are gone!
DeleteThe last picture of you is my favorite. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh this is so me...walking out in nature, and something I will do with my grands.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are great and I love the picture of you..it says a 1000's words.
Great post
How fun to have your grandsons share your love of nature. I delight in the coneflowers--they attract bees and butterflies too, I believe.
ReplyDeleteHappy Day,
Jen
What a BeaUtIFul picture of you with the flowers and sky! There is nothing like a field of flowers to swoon over!
