Small Plaque/Large Reminder

It hangs in an alcove in our home--
a small plaque with a LARGE reminder.
Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness
and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason
for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect...
I Peter 3:15

  1. Great thought. I needed to read that and be reminded that this is not my home. People disappoint us but our hope is in the Lord.

  2. Hardly a day passes that I don't think about the Lord's return. I often ask myself: "Are you packed?". Oh how we need Him!
