These have been some of my favorite tweets from the past week...
brought to you by some of my favorite mantels
seen while on a recent tour of Brookside.
Can you imagine so many mantels in one place--and all so unique!?!

  4. Hi Rebecca,
Wow, these are some great mantles and some even greater quotes.
I really liked the one about when we are criticized and our response to it
shows how much we have built our life on being right.
Reminds me of a story a pastor told at promise keepers my hubby told me.
The pastor had a fight with his wife, and slept on the couch and he was talking to the lord all night about it and the lord said, so do you want to
be right or do you want to be reconciled, and he thought I want to be right, it is the principle of the thing, and for a couple of days he kept on talking to the Lord and complaining and the Lord kept saying so do you want to be right or do you want to be reconciled, and he finally decided he would rather be reconciled. Sometimes we can hold our ground over some of the stupidest things because we want to be right.......I have pretty
much given that one up........course, ever once in awhile it likes to rear it's ugly head................lol
    Blessings and Merry Christmas,
    Nellie

  5. You always post the best quotes, Rebecca. Several of these really spoke to me (and of course were copied). Enjoyed the fireplaces, too.
