Why I Have a Twitter Account

These are the quotes that I've retweeted or marked as favorites
over the past three days or so.
Right now, the only reason I tweet is to preserve these
for future reference and inspiration.
I "follow" about 35 people whose tweetsI find particularly challenging.
Twitter is my file cabinet.

"Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him, and expect help from Him,
He will never fail you."  (George Mueller)

"Spiritual 'dry spells' can reveal whether we love God for the spiritual sensations He gives us,
or just because He is God."  (Nancy Leigh DeMoss)

"If you love Christ, never be ashamed to let others see it and know it. Speak for Him. Witness for Him. Live for Him."  (J.C. Ryle)

"The more important an action, the more likely we put it off.
The trivia we do quickly.Start NOW in faith, trusting God!"  (Rick Warren)

"Repenting is telling Christ exactly why you need Him." (David Osborne)

"In the Kingdom of God it's far more important to be caring & compassionate
than cool, clever, & creative."  (Rick Warren)

"If God tells you to go after Moby Dick in a rowboat, bring tarter sauce."  (Rick Warren)

"WHAT you did was your prerogative but HOW you did it is your character."  (James MacDonald)

  1. All good tweets and tweeters...I like the last tweet. I miss the days when Sunday was set aside as a holy day and all the stores where closed etc. and going to three church services was just what we did...Sunday school was not a choice and no one ever wanted to be late for church or rush out for a football game and we did open our bibles at home and not just in church. I like being strange!!!! :)

    1. It's OK, Janie. As I said, I only use it to "collect" quotes.
      And you are NOT old!

  5. What great sayings! Thanks for stopping by with encouraging and positive words... I intentionally ran that Post for a reason, I've had Friends at the new place that had horrible experiences at previous places with other Vendors complaining about their Inventory and they're hopeful it doesn't happen at the new place since so far everyone and everything has been so positive, enriching & uplifting. A few bad apples always spoil any bunch & I and many others hope there will not be such drama... so it needed to be said & I'm okay with saying it. *winks* No, can't take credit for that wonderful saying of "Success Leaves Clues" but it is one I've enjoyed for years, don't have any idea who coined the phrase, but I believe it to be absolutely true! Never tweeted... only started Blogging just over a year and a half ago... I'm very "Old School". *LOL*

  6. What a smorgasbord of truth! Some from my favorite authors. Sometimes a quote gives me more to ponder than a whole article.
