Glory!

vintage radio in our living room
"I'm experiencing an extra dose of God's glory in my heart this morning! Big things and small, He is Lord of all!'  So posted a facebook friend this morning.  And from the Gospel Song Hall of Fame in my heart came this FlAsHBaCk.  I sure wish I could sing it so you all could HEAR it!
Thank you, JESUS, for the songs embedded in my memory!  Thank you for the glory that fills my soul as I sing these words about You, for You and to You!

It is glory just to walk with Him Whose blood has ransomed me;
It is rapture for my soul each day.
It is joy divine to feel Him near where'er my path may be.
Bless the Lord, it's glory all the way!

It is glory when the shadows fall to know that He is near.
O what joy to simply trust and pray!
It is glory to abide in Him when skies above are clear.
Yes, with Him, it's glory all the way!

'Twill be glory when I walk with Him on heaven's golden shore,
Never from His side again to stray.
'Twill be glory, wondrous glory with the Savior forevermore,
Everlasting glory all the way!
Refrain
It is glory just to walk with Him,
It is glory just to walk with Him,
He will guide my steps aright
Through the vale and o'er the height,
It is glory just to walk with Him.
Does anyone else remember this song?
There was a RADIO program that began with it regularly.
I just know there was.

  5. FINALLY! I can comment on your blog!!! Thank you to Jackie and Google Chrome. Prior to this I couldn't even view your comment page. I don't recall this song either, but your title GLORY - ahhhh, my grandma, my Nanny always greeted me each morning with, "Morning Glory!" I always thought she meant the flower, but thanks to your blog, I'm rethinking that phrase now. Did you know that the Morning Glory plant/flower is considered a noxious weed in Arizona and we are prohibited from planting them? How sad.

    1. A joy to have you "back", Tamara! Sure wish I knew what all the confusion about commenting is/was about.

And, no. I never knew the Morning Glory was considered a noxious weed in AZ.

  9. I don't know that song, but the words are beautiful, and I too have been feeling the Glory of the Lord! Amid a lot of not-so-nice things that are surrounding us right now, the Glory of God is also surrounding us and making it all bearable.
    Nice post. Thank you!
    Love and Prayers,

  10. I too am so grateful for psalms, hymns and spiritual songs that are imbedded in my brain...and scripture verses as well. Many of them learned decades ago. ♫ Keeps me singing as I go... ♫

  11. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely song. When I have a silly ditty running in circles in my brain, I replace it with a Jesus song like this! It helps keep my mind on Him.
