Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole;
I want Thee forever to live in my soul;
I want Thee forever to live in my soul;
Break down every idol, cast out every foe—
Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow,
Now wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.
('nother old Gospel Song. Words by James L. Nicholson)
Snow scenes seen from our front door this morning.
We got freezing rain here in Centerville, Indiana. I didn't go to Jazzercise this morning and plan to stay in the rest of today. I think you got snow and we got the freezing rain. Want to trade?
ReplyDeletebeautiful song, beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteYour snow photos are beautiful, Rebecca, we have not had snow this week , but this song has been in my heart ,and I have been humming and singing it all week. I will however let you have and enjoy the snow, as we are not used to it here, and have had some of the most beautiful weather, I think I might have been spoiled this fall and winter so far, dh husband reminds me that we do need some very cold weather to help with the insect control.~smile~
ReplyDeleteI have been off line this week, and am enjoying catching up.
Enjoy your weekend,
Hugs,
Sue
Your blog is so pretty...♥...I love the second photo.:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dee. From you (with your photographic talent) that is a high compliment!
DeleteBeautiful Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteThese pics sure go great with the words of that song.
I remember praying those words about break down every idol and cast out every foe many years ago, and the Lord showed me that our alarm system was an idol for me, because I trusted it more than Him, wow, that was quite freeing, and after that I never really felt I needed it anymore.
Love how the Lord answers our prayers.
Hope you are doing well hon,
Blessings, Nellie
These are incredible photographs, Rebecca. Beautiful....
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you, Jackie! It's hard to go wrong with beautiful scenes that were just a step outside my front door :)
DeleteI just love the pictures, Rebecca, and that song is an all-time favorite. I wish we would get some snow. :o(
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that we live in the same country sometimes. Occasionally I think it might be nice to be trapped inside because of a wintery white blanket outside.....and drink hot chocolate and eat cookies with coconut. Usually we stay inside so the mosquitoes won't carry us across the river to eat us.
ReplyDeleteLove that song. And that snow. Ours all melted today and the world is turning very icy.
