God Bless our Native Land

God bless our native land
Firm may she ever stand
Through storm and night.
When the wild tempests rave
Ruler of wind and wave
Do Thou our country save
By Thy great might.

For her our prayers shall rise
To God above the skies
On Him we wait.
Thou who art ever nigh
Guarding with watchful eye
To Thee aloud we cry
God save the State.
Amen.

  4. On the occasion of such a sad remembrance may we give praise to God, He Is So Good to us. And may God continue to Bless America in spite of her faults. I think the majority of us still stand firm in Him.
    Beautiful post, Rebecca.

  5. Amen. It was a crazy day. I pray that we never have another breach of security like that. And I'm thankful to belong to a country that goes elsewhere to protect others from that kind of terror.

    Blessings, Debbie
