Speaking of "Random"...

...Monday was rANdoM!  At least my "finds" at the thrift store!
For $2.68 I got all of these goodies
PLUS two pair of men's slacks!

This small chest was lying on the curb on the way TO the thrift store!
Of course I stopped and picked it up!
It's bigger than it looks!  31.5" long; 21" high.
Monday's "finds" were about as RAnDoM
as some of the quotes that I've "collected" lately.

Nobody is bored when he is trying to make something that is beautiful,
or to discover something that is true.  (William Inge)

Give the Lord credit for knowing things you don't understand. (C. H. Spurgeon)

Evil isn't an ACT of God;  evil is the ABSENCE of God. (No source attributed)

How much richer we wold be if we would refuse the books of the hour
and discover again the books of the ages.  (W. Wiersbe)

This world is my passage, not my portion. (Chris Tiegreen)

What is the difference between an obstacle and an opportunity? Our attitude toward it. Every opportunity has a difficulty, and every difficulty has an opportunity. (J. Sidlow Baxter)

"Faith is not about everything turning out okay.
Faith is about being okay no matter how things turn out."

When something is missing in your life, it usually turns out to be Someone.

  6. Love the doilies.....my Aunt Gladys could crochet like that, but I just make plain round circles. Did you notice in the second picture how the blue thread ran out in the center? I wonder what the crafter was thinking! Glad you got the chest instead of the trash truck!

  7. Nice selection of 'random' for us to enjoy.

Thought, too, it interesting that the blue thread ran out in the center of that second doily.
