Cleaned out the winter debris from some of our flower beds. |
Figured out which plants needed dividing. |
Enjoyed seeing some of the spring blooms. |
Noticed the clematis almost ready to blossom. |
There is PLENTY left to do! |

What are YOUR current yard and garden projects?
Oh, I love new flowers. It'll be neat to see how colorful your yard becomes as time goes by :) :) I don't have a yard, just a back porch. So I don't have any yard plans, except to sweep up the leaves. Have a lovely week. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
ReplyDeleteYou've accomplished much more then I! I haven't even started to clean out the flower beds, I'm waiting for some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteThough it's work, it's good work, and it feels so good to look out and see what you have got done. Unfortunately we have a rainy week predicted...maybe the week after I can get out there!
None.
ReplyDeleteI hate yard work, although I did bother to water the geranium my mother bought me for my birthday!

We finally got some dry weather so we can work outside. Looks like you got a good start. How do you divide your daylilies? I was wondering if I can just chop some off with a spade to transfer to another bed. I did get all the zoysia grass from around the peonies before the rain started. Still lots to do...
ReplyDeleteI have little to do now except sit back
ReplyDeleteand watch the irises and roses bloom.
The day lilies will be out next month
and the hostas are getting huge now.
I planted thumbelina zinnias in all
the back deck flower boxes and portulacas
in the large pots around the deck. So
everything is really beautiful right
now.
Beautiful pictures Rebecca! I have to say that I also LOVE gardening and watching plants and flowers spring to life! Enjoy!:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a productive morning you had! Your beds are gorgeous, they show that they are tended by an experienced gardener.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I want to shop your outdoor furniture pile!!
Blessings, Debbie
I am pulling up *spent* Blue-Bonnets, bagging them up and offering them on Freecycle. I am fixing to give some bulb plants a hair-cut. After they bloom, they fall over and just cry....so here comes a trim. There is a glorious breeze out of the North to help me along.
ReplyDeleteI spy some wire yard art and some neat tubs in your garden stash. Keep taking pictures. I never tire of a friend garden.
Looks like you were quite productive. I love this time of year. We just planted a bed of impatients just before the rains came. Still have a lot of "winter" to clear away.
ReplyDeleteI am working, but not accomplishing much. It's already out of control!
ReplyDeleteWe've had so much rain it's taking longer than usual for our yard to be prepared. RB and Emily are the gardeners in our family. We've tried to plant some perennials throughout the years we've lived here so everything doesn't have to be done each year. You made good progress in your morning work.
