Sing Along

The birds are singing lustily this morning.
I THINK they might be singing THIS song!
It's an "old" Gaither song.
I reconstructed it to the best of my memory.

He holds the future in the palm of His hand,
And He has never failed me yet,
I know He's reigning and still has control,
So why should I worry or fret.

I believe, I believe, I believe
So why should I worry or fret.

There are some people living each day in fear
of what tomorrow may bring;
but I'm trusting in One
Who is walking so near.
I'm talking 'bout the King of all kings.

I know who holds the future,
And I know who holds my hand.
And I know just as sure as I'm singing this song
I'm part of His Almighty plan!

I believe, I believe, I believe
So why should I worry or fret.

I'm Singing Along with them!

  1. We're enjoying the birdsong, too, here in our part of Indiana. When I hear it, I turn to Little and say, "The birds are singing."

"Yes," he says. "They're singing, 'Hal'lujah, hal'ujah, praise ye da Lord!'"

    I'm pretty sure he's right. :)

    P. S. - Nothing ministers quite like a good gospel song when I'm walking through a particularly difficult time.

  2. Hi Rebecca,
Well in answer to your question, hubby never even had an interview there, just sent in a resume and applied! So no reason to feel enough obligation to send it certified mail for sure!!

So how are you today?? I am good, but am tired, think all this lack of sleep is definitely catching up to me.
Scott and Megan are coming for dinner cause we
need to talk about things to do with the wedding, but I am almost wishing it wasn't tonight, but maybe I can catch a quick nap, boy
that sounds good, I may go do that right now!! lol
You take care and have a great day,
Hope it is sunny and nice for you today,
    Blessings, Nellie

  4. You know that's the exact mindset that I try to follow. Although it can be difficult at times, it seems to make things easier in the long run.
    Love Di ♥

  7. Love that old song, and love the Gaithers. Sometimes I need more of the old songs in my life, they seem to speak to me where I live.
    Thanks for the reminder...I believe!
