Going over Class Rules with Grandpa... |
The promise of tomorrow
And the hope of dreams come true...
A reminder of the childhood
That is still a part of you...
The wonder of a miracle
From which this love began...
There is so much found in the touch
Of a grandchild's hand.
Happy Grandparent's Day!
April 11th, 2011
...so read the poem pasted to the craft we made with our grandson yesterday. The glue smeared the colors of the marker we used, but nothing could smear the fun of sharing this kindergarten day with our second oldest grandson.
We look forward to having him "sleep over" again soon!
Most always a smile on THIS one's face...
After our morning in kindergarten, we picked up C's big brother and enjoyed the buffet at Pizza Hut before making our five hour trip back home.
SO worth it!

So precious. I've found the unbridled love of our grandchildren soothes other heartaches.
ReplyDeletePamela said it so well! I think Carson looks a LOT like Gary in this photo! I know you had a wonderful time. The miles we'll put on our cars to see our grandchildren! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHow very sweet...I love kids and am so
ReplyDeletelooking forward to enjoying my own
grandkids one day. Yours are so darling.
I can't wait to be a grandma! What a wonderful thing, to be so loved and so special to that precious little person. I love the picture of grandpa enduring the tiny chair with such love and joy, all for the pleasure of his grandson!
ReplyDeleteAs to the song. I didn't know what I was going to post this morning. I started writing what I thought was a poem, but it turned into a song. The Lord hasn't given me the music for it yet...but He will!
Blessings, Debbie
How sweet is that. Grandchildren are so special and quite the blessings! I have a grandparent picnic to go to in June and can't wait. When we were in Georgia last month we got a chance to go to our granddaughters school to see her receive an award and then we got to go see where out grandson goes to pre-school. What a real joy!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Blessings
