Activities such as homework & reading from the Animal Atlas...
waiting while big sister hides the eggs...
and searching high and low.
These are a few of the activities that keep us busy these days.
We have to cram a lot of grandparenting into a few full days (unlike those of you who have them a few hours at a time more frequently). I see I haven't taken a picture of Elijah, the youngest, yet. Maybe later.
I'll bet you are the best grandparents! Can I confess I'm jealous? I have two married daughters but no grandkids yet. I'm looking forward to doing things like you do with grandkids someday!
ReplyDeleteWe do the "cramming" style, too! But I'm thankful for the times we can be together - as I'm sure you are. Each time we see our grandchildren, they seem to have grown extraordinarily fast!
ReplyDeleteThe best? Hardly, Cindy! Too low in the energy department to be "the best".
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, Glenda, we ARE thankful for the times to be together. They DO seem to grow up VERY fast.
Yes, we have to cram too, now that they live in the West. But I found out I'm getting a grandson in August! Hooray! Two little granddaughters and now a grandson--the first boy in his mama's family in a long, long time. We are feeling so blessed!
ReplyDeleteI understand the cramming. Jake only gets to see our grandchildren about every three months so he is always surprised at how much they have changed! It seems that there is some fun going on there. Are we practicing egg hunting for future fun? Love Di ♥
