Leaving Christmas

While washing potatoes for our baked potato bar, this was my way of keeping my eyes on the boy.

No one pointed out the error in spelling on my previous blog post title.  (I have corrected it.)  Thank you for your kindness I've also corrected the light setting on my cellphone camera.  Things are looking better!.

I'm recovering my words after four days of concentrated attention on extended family.  Soon I'll be back to my regular routine. I've enjoyed the past days of conversation, learning new games, group singing, great food, and sleeping on a king-size bed at night! We leave at 11:00 this morning. and go our separate ways.

If you are interested in random photos from our two nights and three days at Heritage Inn at Sauder Village in Archbold, OH (so many activities were NOT documented), you can see them on our family blog.

  1. I've been thinking of you these past few days, knowing where you were...our family is getting so big that maybe sometime we can do something similar. A baked potato bar sound fantastic. Thanks for that idea...I may just have to incorporate it into our plans this coming weekend! Off to see your photos!
