Christmas Afterglow

Youngest....
 Oldest (my father trying to get the knack of bowling via the wii)...
 A few of the adults at the final breakfast hour...
Grandfather and Grandson saying goodbye while brothers-in-law embrace in the background.
Family ties were strengthened during hours we spent together...
new memories created;
old ones reinforced.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for my earthly family.
Next year, God-willing, I plan to fit in my bathing suit again and join the crowd in the pool!
Note my sister in the bottom right of this photo.  She'd just gotten into the water.
Her posture suggests that the water was cold!

  2. Becky this is so special. Do you have a group photo with look-alike outfits? It must be so hard to say goodbye after such a great family time.

  3. Thanks for sharing this, Rebecca, I love family posts!
    And I know how you feel about donning a bathing suit! This past summer when I went in the pool I wore LONG shorts (racer bike/swim shorts) and a sort of wet suit top (short sleeved), it was great! But I don't think I'd be going into the water if it was that cold anyway!

    I loved all your photos! The baby is beautiful!
    And so is your Dad and good for him playing wii!
    Love to you,
    Eileen
    PS ~ I hurt my shoulder over a month ago playing tennis wii and it still smarts!
