Generativity

...this was "yesterday"
"When God says 'today', he does not mean 'tomorrow'.

The words seemed to jump off the page as I read them aloud this morning from the page of Streams in the Desert, Volume 2.  Just a few lines down:

"Action ever follows vision."

A facebook friend posted yesterday after a full day consisting of a full-time job followed by a part-time one: "Still choosing generativity against stagnation."

I don't know if it's a word or not, but I choose generativity today.  There was sure a lot of it going on while our grandchildren were here.  Now it's up to me!

  1. I so agree Rebecca! Being sick this past two weeks has really made me miss ordinary housework, just moving! Grandkids visiting certainly don't allow for relaxation!

I think it's very thought-provoking...not to mention true...I love how God means what He says... :) :) :) Oh, and the photo of your grandkids...well, that's just cute!!! I love how they're all gathered together having fun doing crafty things :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  9. It seems I'm always catching up on blogs these days. I don't know how life seemed to get so busy lately. Love the word and the thoughts. I also choose generativity.
