This amazing family of 13 children (2 are married and weren't singing last night) play 15 different stringed instruments, sing three-part and four-part harmony, and demonstrate the beauty of a family that works, sings, travels and plays together. The picture above doesn't include the sons, younger daughters, and their mother.
When I returned home, I went to their website (with a "web" of features--all interesting) where I was humbled to find that they do a daily Christmas show in Branson, MO for six weeks in November and December. That they came to our little, unincorporated village made me appreciate them even more!
The words to the songs of faith that they sang encouraged my heart--songs of the faithfulness of God and of trust in Jesus....
What a peaceful way to end our day!
I admire and am amazed at talent that runs through a whole family such as this. What a special treat for you to just be able to walk out your door and be blessed with goood food and music.
