The Perfect House

"That house was the perfect house, whether you like food or sleep,
or storytelling, or singing, or just a mixture of them all.
Merely to be there was a cure for weariness, fear, and sadness." JRR Tolkien

I'm always comfortable in our house, but it seemed near perfect the past few days as grandchildren shared our space.  Story times, game playing, art projects, meal times and snacks...I hope it was as magical for them as it was for us!

  2. awe...that's so sweet! I'm so glad you had so much fun with them. You guys to a great job of doing things that are so age appropriate and so "right" for their interests. Thanks for working hard to maintain relationships with the kids. I know it's a lot of "work". We appreciate you.

  4. I left a comment but I guess I messed up! I said that I am sure that your grandkids had a magical time too. I remember every little thing that I did with my grandma from when I was a little, little girl! We are very blessed to be grandparents. What was that game they were playing, it looked familiar? I won't be around much after today but just had to stop by to wish you a wonderful weekend. Don't you have a parade that goes past your house for the fourth, or is that another holiday that I'm thinking of? Enjoy your weekend! Love Di ♥
