Anniversary Promenade

We celebrated our June 5th wedding anniversary yesterday afternoon.  This is the entrance wall to Sandra D's, currently our favorite restaurant.  Small and intimate, the food is always delectable.  After a pleasant dinner, we left the car parked behind Sandra D's and walked around the neighborhood.
Next door was this beautiful window box...
For some reason, doorways were what attracted me.  Like the one above and this one, below.
Other beauties included these:
The weather was pleasant and it was a joy to spend a few hours
with my husband of almost 39 years (minus one day).
The restaurant and promenade were HIS ideas* and they suited us well.
I love you, Gary.
*so was the chocolate peanut-butter pie that we stopped for and carried out to enjoy at home!

  2. Wonderful anniversary ! And it was HIS idea is what made it even better. We've been married almost 29 years, and all anniversaries are MY idea. So I see I have to wait another 10 years. Hope Springs Eternal, thanks ! Gina
