MY SOUL MAGNIFIES THE LORD!

...these are the two ceramic pieces I recently completed to round out a set of thrifted Nativity figures (these two were missing). Mary's words are mine this morning! The Lord HAS done great things for me. Holy is his name. And his mercy is for those who fear him from generation to generation!

Oh, for a new awareness and appreciation of the fact that Jesus lives inside of ME, by faith. His Holy Spirit has taken up residence and will stay with me until the day I am united face to face with Jesus!

My spirit truly rejoices in God my Savior.

I'm glad you could complete your nativity set.

Those words from Mary's prayer have always touched me. I like the way the KJV said, "My soul doth magnify the Lord! I want to truly Magnify my Lord; I also echo her words, "the Mighty One has done great things for me--" He has indeed greatly blessed me!

THE BLOGGER'S PRAYER Lord, help me to learn to spell without spellcheck, manage to visit all that visit me, and post regularly - all in 5 minutes a day, so that I can clean house and take care of my family. Help me to not look at every occurrence in my life as a blog post, and to quit taking pictures of weird things to share as well. Please Lord, help me to stop talking about my blog friends as though they are next door neighbors or someone I have known all of my life. And help me, dear Lord, to think of something witty and wise to post tomorrow.
