A Most Beautiful Sunday Morning - November 29, 2009

Flanking the doors at the side of our auditorium is the brown wrapping paper that contains our handwritten "thanks" from last week's Thanksgiving Service.

Our Thank-You List ends in front at the beautiful 12' tree decorated by our own in-house decorator -- Liz, a busy home-schooling mother of 5!

It is ALL so very beautiful!

  1. What a beautiful tree Rebecca! I think it's tomorrow night when we all meet at church to decorate and enjoy fellowship and of coarse food! I will try and remember to get some photos. I've been wanting to get photos of the stained glass windows at night, they are awesome when it's dark out and the church is lit up. I sometimes go on Saturday evening but decided to go Sunday morning this week instead.
I love the Advent season, it really makes me focus on what this time of year is all about, which can be difficult with all of the commercialism that is thrown at us all of the time!
I loved the hand written Thank You's on the brown paper, what a novel idea!
    Love Di

  2. ...and your post and music is beautiful too Rebecca! Thank you for the good feelings!

  3. I loved the brown paper filled with thank you's and the lovely Christmas Tree, it all goes so well with your chosen music, my favorite......:-) Hugs

  4. Diana, I surely want to see that stained glass window. They are ALWAYS beautiful - but particularly so at this season.

  5. Wrapped in thankful reminders...

As Christmas should be... wrapped in thankfulness for the gift of Grace.

Beautiful Christmas blog; makes me feel all festive inside!

  6. I love coming here....peaceful...and the true reason for the season is celebrated.
    Thank you, Rebecca.

  7. Beautiful post! Such a great idea to have the thanks handwritten on the brown paper!
Your tree is beautiful! Kudos to Liz! She did a wonderful job!

LOVE the Christmas music! I've been trying to get some songs together for my blog too, but I've been so busy!

    'Talk' to you soon!
    Love to you, Eileen

  8. The hand-written Thanks was a great idea. The tree is beautiful. As always, thanks for sharing the beautiful things in your life.

  9. Your church is beautiful....the tree is wonderful...thanks for sharing this post...have a blessed week

  10. What a beautiful blog you have here and such a wonderful post! I love that you keep the reason for the season front and center.

Thank you so much for entering my giveaway, best of luck!
