Appreciate, Drool, and Rejoice

I can't keep up with the gifted and creative cooks in my circle of blogging friends. But I CAN appreciate their talents, drool over the results, and rejoice in the blessings of God to all of us.

Here is part of the meal we will be eating today. To read more about it, visit my Power, Love and Self-Control blog.

And let us all be truly grateful for what God has generously supplied for us.

Galatians 6:4 "...then (s)he can take pride in (her)self, without comparing (her)self to somebody else..."

  2. Rebecca, I love to cook and I do think it is one of my (few) talents. I try to use it to serve my family and I'm also involved in the meals ministry at our church. However, I L OVE the simplicity of summertime meals. Bring on the cantaloupe, fresh tomatoes, and sweet corn!

  6. Those tomatoe's look good. My brother-n-law gave Frank and i some tomatoe's yesterday and i was very eager to slice up one and eat it because i have not had a good garden tomatoe all season. Well, this tomatoe looked perfect and i sliced it with thr utmost care, sprinkled a little salt on it and....boo hoo...it had no flavor. :-( It is nice you can cook. Frank is the cook in our family. I fear when he gets weaker he will suffer from my cooking. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments and insight to my doodles. I look forward to your comments. :-)
