Our Chicago Visit

"Children's children are a crown to the aged"
(Proverbs 17:6)

We passed the morning playing "find the nickels", building blocks, reading books, and enjoying our grandchildren. Our daughter is taking a week's graduate class and we are helping out for a couple of days. Hope the rain stops before tomorrow!

  1. I was born in Chicago, but do not remember it. We moved before I was five years old. Your grandchildren are very cute.

  3. Hope you had a great time...Chicago proper is my hometown...born and raised there. I left when I got married and went back frequently for visits and vacations. Have so many wonderful memories and beautiful places to go and see there.

  4. Your grandchildren are beautiful and so precious, so happy to see how much you and your husband are enjoying them. Children are really one of God's greatest gifts, all we need to do is love them and they reward us with their trust and love.
    Enjoy Chicago......:-) Hugs

  5. Hmmm. Wondering where in the Chicagoland area you are staying? Soak up that time with the grandkids--I know you are. I love having them to myself while the parents are away. :-)

  6. The serious looks are more a reflection on my photographic skills rather than their temperaments!
