Quiet Corner - A Place to Refresh and Reflect
I shared a lovely day Tuesday with a friend. We drove several miles to a favorite spot of mine - Quiet Corner Tea and Coffee Room outside of Churubusco, IN. Inside is just as charming as outside. Nature is highlighted; the Creator praised. After a simple and delicious lunch, we strolled the trails and spent time sitting on the deck watching birds at the feeders and enjoying the fine afternoon weather.

oooooh i would love to have a tea room like that near me for my best friend Sue and i to visit on our day out. I love that it gives praise to the Lord. Dee
ReplyDeleteIt IS an amazing place. The owners did medical missionary work in India for 8 years (I believe). India chai tea is their specialty. Don't you visit Donna's Booknook? She met friends there not so long ago and posted about it, too....
ReplyDeleteIt looks so inviting...wish they had them everywhere!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely pictures to go with it.

Sounds wonderful! I definitely want to meet you there sometime! What a happy day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift to both of your days... Oh, to be able to step away to a quiet, reflective place with a dear friend for an afternoon. Yet in the city, it's quite a drive to get there...
ReplyDeleteBlessings upon your day!
Oh Rebecca, what a lovely time you must have had!
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to visit a place that glorifies Our Creator :)

It's always nice to visit with a friend...a tea room plus nature trails make it perfect...
ReplyDeleteSounds like I have like-minded-blogging-friends! What a joy to share common interests and kind, encouraging words! So good to hear from all of you today. It's been beautiful here in Indiana.
ReplyDeleteAs you know, it's one of my favorite places too. Brenda will need to come and go with us sometime. What a great place to refresh and relax.
ReplyDeleteI would have enjoyed that.
