Off the Wall

Stepping into our local bulk food store,
one is transported to a whole new continent!
 There's a story, I'm sure.
I just haven't heard the official one.
Meanwhile, I am trying to adjust
to the juxtaposition of wild game and whole wheat flour.
"Off the Wall" seems an appropriate title.
At least for this post!

  1. How bazaar.
Beautiful animals although I would much prefer to see them in their own environment.

    1. "Bazaar" is yet another way of describing it, Jo. :)

  2. I detest the "Dead Zoo" that has popped up in the Grabill Country Store. It is depressing, and I now limit my trips there to a bi-monthly pick up of a 50lb sack of bread flour.
How sad that someone looked at majestic elephant and the only thought was how great its head would look hanging on a wall, and, "wow, wouldn't the elephants leg make a great umbrella/walking stick holder".

Warped. I would much prefer to see photo's of these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
