...this was "yesterday" |
"When God says 'today', he does not mean 'tomorrow'.
The words seemed to jump off the page as I read them aloud this morning from the page of Streams in the Desert, Volume 2. Just a few lines down:
"Action ever follows vision."
A facebook friend posted yesterday after a full day consisting of a full-time job followed by a part-time one: "Still choosing generativity against stagnation."
I don't know if it's a word or not, but I choose generativity today. There was sure a lot of it going on while our grandchildren were here. Now it's up to me!
I so agree Rebecca! Being sick this past two weeks has really made me miss ordinary housework, just moving! Grandkids visiting certainly don't allow for relaxation!
ReplyDeleteLove Di ♥
As a collector of words, I simply HAVE to have this one!
ReplyDeleteBlessings for a day of generativity.

It's YOURS, Kathleeen. (I got it from Ginni.)

ReplyDeleteGreat word ~ and it does go well when related to grands.
ReplyDeleteRebecca...this is really great and I LOVe that first quote you had there...I'm going to post that on my Facebook page tonight. I think it's very thought-provoking...not to mention true...I love how God means what He says... :) :) :) Oh, and the photo of your grandkids...well, that's just cute!!! I love how they're all gathered together having fun doing crafty things :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful word.:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder that the choice is ours!
Oh, I love this!!! Yes...we have to follow through on vision...and God steps in and blesses our faithfulness!!! So inspiring, Rebecca!!! Love the background on your blog...so sophisticated!! ~Janine XO
ReplyDeleteIt seems I'm always catching up on blogs these days. I don't know how life seemed to get so busy lately. Love the word and the thoughts. I also choose generativity.
