Tiptoe through the Tulips


short-lived
and concentrated
in beauty
blooming for a season
then yielding place
to other
sturdier stock
till their time
comes again
as it will

Such a sweet time
in the sunshine with some
family at a local, city park
this week.

  1. What a delightful array of colours. So nice to be enjoying the warm days with family.

    I am so enjoying the tulips this Spring. We're still waiting for the tulips in the garden to bloom, but the bulbs we planted in pots last fall have been blooming since March.
