Sometimes I use the camera on my cell phone as a mirror
to check my lipstick or hair.
I did that this morning as I sat in a waiting room with a relative.
What I saw was so striking that I took a picture of it!
I showed my husband when I got home asking,
"Am I REALLY this grey?"
"Am I REALLY this grey?"
He was diplomatic.
He assures me that I'm not--
that it was just the lighting. Or background. Or something.
I'm not sure what to believe...
Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.
Proverbs 16:31
that it was just the lighting. Or background. Or something.
I'm not sure what to believe...
Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.
Proverbs 16:31
That's not grey. It's platinum!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT'S a great way to think of it...
DeleteSilver, grey, platinum is in style these days. Embrace it!
ReplyDeleteOh, believe me, I AM (embracing it)!
DeleteSame thing happening here! I'm seeing more gray/white/silver hair every day it seems! :)
ReplyDeleteI have no problem with it, do you? :)
DeleteThe wind was blowing one day and I kept seeing something white out of the corner of my eye....it was my hair! 😀 I've embraced my gray, too.
ReplyDeleteI love your grey hair mom!! And I love my diplomatic dad! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhen you see me today, you can decide whether or not it WAS the lighting and/or background :)
DeleteYou certainly embody the truth & encouragement of that scripture, Rebecca!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm. Not sure, but thankful for any/all the righteousness of Jesus is mine and that is increasingly evident to those who know me.
DeleteI hope it was not the lighting, because it is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI think your hair coloring is lovely Rebecca.
