And Read

Having seen this book mentioned on Sally Clarkson's blog
(George MacDonald’s Diary of an Old Soul),
I am officially on the hunt for it!
If you should have a copy or run across one at a reasonable price, I would love to purchase it.

And THIS one also:  Bandersnatch by Diana Glyer.
No doubt I've come late to Lanier's blog.
After reading this post, I'm adding one more book to my reading list as well
as a determination to return to her blog and read more of her story/
Her writing captures my imagination.

I have entered a new season of life and have a new phone to accompany me.
I know how to use its camera - just can't figure out how to send the photos back to myself/
Sigh.  Soon I'll have photos again.  Until then, I shall read.
Plan and prepare meals.
Continue to organize and enjoy our home.
And "do life" with my father who has come to live with us.

And read...

  1. Those two books sound great and I hope you find copies. You could search on Abebooks online. I read one George McDonald novel and loved it, it was a great love story about nobility of character.

  2. I read both of these blogs today and I am so interested in Bandersnatch, especially as I think my daughter would truly love it and be inspired by it, as I am sure I would too! I'm looking for Christmas gifts, right now as well, so I'm looking at books for everyone!

    1. I'm just getting acquainted with her! Actually, I believe it might have been her daughter who wrote this particular post - and I was impressed. "Impacted" might be a more suitable word....

  4. I know how it is to have to learn all the new technology when acquiring a new phone! I google all my questions and learn that way! Diary of an Old Soul sounds wonderful.
