The sudden appearance of Resurrection Lilies....
multiple cards with expressions of encouragement and sympathy...
a poem by a new friend...
and a Sunday sky full of clouds of every variety.
These are the faces of beauty that blessed me this week
as we siblings shared special times with our father following
our mother's home-going.
I am SO blessed.
Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time.
He has planted eternity in the human heart,
but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11

DeleteCatching up with your blog this morning...I see that your dear mother has completed this temporary journey and has reached her eternal destination. Although I am sorry for those she has left behind, how can one ever be sorry for one who is at home with Jesus! Praying that He continues to hold all of you close, and that you continue to see His beauty...
ReplyDeleteYou're SO right, Cheryl. Thanks for your prayers. I am looking forward to the next season of my life. I'm thankful to have been able to spend so much time with my mother in the last few years of her life.
