Saturday

A single beauty admired at our local Extension Gardens earlier this week...
This morning, one of my favorite "tweeters" - Scotty Smith - tweeted: "Saturday is a great day for embracing our limitations, boasting in Christ, and extending God's grace."  His hashtag was "justlikeeveryday".
I'm determined not to get stuck on the FIRST part,
consciously practice the second part,
and actively engage in the third.
Another single beauty from our own back yard!

    1. I don't really "tweet" anything either, Dee. I DO have a twitter account and use it to collect thoughts that challenge or encourage me. To do this, I RE-tweet so that my "twitter page" is actually a file of meaningful quotes for me. :)

  3. Thanks Rebecca. Good Saturday Morning to you! I must admit I have too much on my plate for the next week and my head is spinning. Though I'm usually up for the challenge of juggling projects, I need to practice His Presence to preserve my Peace. It is truly is ALL about extending HIS GRACE.

    1. These day lilies (I think) are the kind that grow by the roadside - something so common, but so strikingly beautiful in my opinion. When the lavender of the Russian sage blooms around mine at the same time, I am always flabbergasted by the color combination!

  6. I don't tweet....and I rarely even Facebook. My blogging has taken a back seat, too.
    What's a girl to do?? :))
I love the photos of your flowers, Rebecca, and I'm so glad to learn that you are continuing to heal nicely. Take the best care of you. Give kisses and hugs to your sweet Mama from me, will you.
    Love you,
    Jackie

    1. Awwwwww, thanks, Jackie. As you may have gathered I DO have a twitter account which functions as a quotation file. Facebook, I mainly catch up on it. Blogs? I still do 'em. Have you had some sweet Carolina time lately? How are YOUR parents (and grandchildren)?

    2. The Grands are just that: GRAND! I miss them right now. Three of them are in North Carolina with our son and daughter-in-law taking a vacation before back-to-school time for them.
Mama and Daddy are doing well. We were able to spend some time together in our NC home this summer. Paul and I are going back soon. It was so nice for us to be able to spend the time with Mama and Daddy up there. Thank you so much for asking.
Mama and Daddy won't go back with us until the fall. It's too long of a trip for Mama to take very often, so when we do go there with them, we stay for a while. (Hence, the absence from my blogging...)
I send you another hug....and I do hope that you continue to heal completely from your surgery.
      Love,
      Jackie
