Let's Talk

My mail box has been flooded for the past couple of months with various plans to celebrate my upcoming (December) graduation to Medicare.

Let's be frank.  It's confusing.  What's a person to do?

I can honestly say I can't think of a thing I mind about turning sixty-five except the SOUND of it...(Well, that and trying to figure out what to do about all the options/choices surrounding Medicare.)

How about you?

  1. I turn 65 in May next year. I'm okay with that - it's just shocking to me that I will be 65 and on Medicare.
(If you have any tips to share, I will be interested.)

  2. Exactly! I'm okay with it - it just catches me by SUCH surprise :)
No tips. Right now I'm just finding it all quite difficult to nail down - Medicare A & B, I've signed up for. What to do re. supplemental & pharmaceutical, dental & vision is less clear to me.

  3. Hi Rebecca,
I hear you..........and Happy early Birthday............yea, I hear that medicare thing is the most confusing thing
out there, and that they want allow the pharmacist or people like that who know more give any advice either.
Ridiculous really...........not looking forward to that. You should like me when I was approaching 60, I didn't mind it at all, but just kept thinking 60 wow, how did I get here so quickly................think I was more in awe of it than anything, I am on my way to becoming 62 next march, but am thankful with
all the physical problems I do have that I am still in pretty good shape and can still do a lot of things..........
    God is good!
    Have a great week ahead,
    Blessings, Nellie

  4. It is all so confusing. My husband even asked the eye doctor recently about all of it and he said he didn't even understand it. Maybe that's the plan...to keep us confused. I have a few more years to go before Medicaid maybe by then it will be straightened out. Not!
