Morning Rebecca, Looks like you have a lovely Thanksgiving too! Nice you were able to go to your sisters, and visit with all the relatives. Perfect day. You are so right about enjoying what is rather than what we want it to be.... Flexibility is key for sure. Actually, I find it rather different and refreshing.....am looking forward to when the kids decide they want to take it over and I just get to help out!! lol My daughter is slowly moving towards that direction, I am sure the big change will comes with the kiddles, whenever that is............lol
Hope all is well with you hon, I am still in process, not as good as I could be, but surely not as bad as I was!! lol Blessings, Nellie
Oh you are precious...and I love these wonderful pictures!! What a true blessing. I hope you know that God speaks through you to me more times then you could imagine...thanks for being His vessel, I am so encouraged and strengthened.
Rebecca: I am trusting you had a lovely holiday! Thanksgiving day was my husband's birthday and so we had birthday celebrations going on as well--ours was a "cowboy birthday" theme--mostly for the sake of the grandchildren!
Read Janette's post a day or so ago and I agree! Happy Thanksgiving, Rebecca!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, Rebecca, filled with many more blessings,
ReplyDeleteSue
aren't you so glad to have your dad at thanksgiving?
ReplyDeleteit looks like a wonderful celebration, and i agree
wholeheartedly about precious janette!
And my mother, too! I'm almost 64 years old, so count it a REAL blessing to have them both still living and able to socialize :)
DeleteThat was a great reminder from your friend Janette's blog. Love the little book she had. I also like your back ground photo.:)
ReplyDeleteForgot to add that I think the picture of your dad waving is heartwarming. :)
ReplyDeleteThe absolute best parts of Thanksgiving: loved ones & yummy dishes combined. Priceless!
